Business Summer Intern Application for Andros Innovations
We're solving the hardest problem in chemistry, and we can't do it alone. We're looking for scientist, engineers, builders, innovators and connectors to join our mission.
Location: Boston, MA | Type: Summer Internship (10-12 Weeks)
The Mission Deep Tech companies die when they build things nobody wants. Your job is to make sure we are building the right thing for the right market.
As a Business Intern, you will work directly with the CEO and VP of Operations. You will not be filing paperwork. You will be hunting for market insights, validating supply chains, and helping construct the economic case for Green Ammonia. You will see exactly what it takes to run a venture-backed hardware startup.
What You Will Do
Market Intelligence: Deep dive into specific verticals (Maritime Fuel, Precision Agriculture, Green Hydrogen Storage). Who are the players? What is their price point? What is their pain?
Technoeconomic Support: Help update our TEA (Technoeconomic Analysis) models with real-world vendor quotes and market data.
Supply Chain Hunting: We need a specific compressor or a specialized alloy. You will find the 3 vendors in the world who sell it and get us a quote.
Grant Support: Assist in drafting narratives and gathering data for non-dilutive funding opportunities (DOE/NSF).
Operational Velocity: Help organize the "boring" things that make a company run fast—onboarding workflows, inventory tracking, and facility management.
Who You Are
MBA Candidate or High-Potential Undergrad (Business, Economics, or Engineering).
Technical Fluency: You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be deeply interested in how things work. You can read a technical white paper and understand the value prop.
Excel Wizard: You are comfortable with complex spreadsheets and financial modeling.
Writer: You can write clear, concise business prose.
Self-Starter: You don't need to be told what to do every hour. You see a problem (e.g., "The inventory is messy") and you fix it.
Bonus Points
Background in Energy, Climate Tech, or Manufacturing.
Previous experience in a startup environment.
