Business Development Lead Application for Andros Innovations

The Mission We are not selling a widget. We are selling a future where heavy industry is decarbonized.

As the Business Development Lead, you are the hunter. Your job is to validate our market hypothesis by securing the partnerships that matter: Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and Pilot Projects.

You will bridge the gap between our technical reality and the commercial needs of the world’s largest fertilizer, maritime, and energy companies. You are not just pitching slides; you are building the economic case for Green Ammonia.

What You Will Do

  • Pilot Sales: Identify and close the first commercial pilot partners (Agricultural Co-ops, Green Hydrogen developers). You will own the funnel from "Cold Outreach" to "Signed JDA."

  • Technoeconomic Analysis (TEA): Work with the engineering team to translate reactor performance (yield, energy cost) into a "Levelized Cost of Ammonia" ($/ton) that customers understand.

  • Market Mapping: Deeply map the ecosystem. Who buys the ammonia? Who makes the hydrogen? Who owns the distribution? You will find the "wedge" where Andros fits best.

  • Government Affairs: Identify and pursue non-dilutive funding opportunities (DOE Hydrogen Hubs, State Incentives) that align with our commercial roadmap.

  • Voice of the Customer: Bring market feedback into the lab. If the maritime industry needs a specific purity or pressure, you ensure our engineers know that before they build.

Who You Are

  • 5+ Years in Climate/Energy/Industrial BD: You have sold "First-of-a-Kind" (FOAK) technology before. You know how to sell a pilot project that doesn't exist yet.

  • Technical Fluency: You have an Engineering or Science degree (or equivalent experience). You can explain why Haber-Bosch is inefficient without needing a cheat sheet.

  • Modeler: You are a wizard in Excel. You can build a project finance model that calculates IRR, Capex, and Opex for a chemical plant.

  • Resilient: You know that B2B industrial sales cycles are long. You have the grit to nurture a relationship for 12 months to get a "Yes."

  • Strategic Writer: You can write a grant narrative or a white paper that is compelling, clear, and persuasive.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the Ammonia, Fertilizer, or Hydrogen sectors.

  • MBA with a focus on Energy/Sustainability.
